There was an interview done by Fox Sports Net with Wyc Grousbeck, the CEO of the Celts and he said that Paul Pierce told him he wanted to retire as a Boston Celtics and would be honored to have his number retired in Boston. Last year I would have maybe thought Paul would want to leave, he wasn't playing well, he was having trouble finding ways to score, then Toine came back and I thought maybe that would make him play better/feel better about staying in Boston. This year he's been outstanding and everything has come to him so easily. I can't see him leaving anywhere unless he's offered an absurd amount of money. But by then he'll be 30-31 years old so I really don't see that happening
Yeah you guys really can't understand how it is if you don't live around here I guess, he has no intentions of leaving, nor do the Celtics want to trade him.
