    Sorry, I caused such a uproar but there seems to be at least a small chance he will need a minor surgery to remove chip. That means we have to live with Frye with no trade.

    Maybe because I can't see any other reason to trade for Shaq and even if Oden had a operation I wouldn't think Shaq would make sense unless Oden was out for another year.

    It makes a morbid kind of sense.

    The knee is worse than they are admiting, and Oden needs surgery. Even if it is just a "clean out", he is likely out until April. Perfect excuse to tank and shoot for another season in the lotto. Perfect excuse to avoid the stress/risk of a trade.
