Wow, we actually beat the spurs at home. Yeah i realise it was back to back for them but they blew out the suns yesterday and their players were not that tired. We execute our offense well, Lamar and Kobe actually looked like they were insync. We slowed down parker, reminded me of what phil did in 2004. Kobe destroyed Bowen when bowen guadered him. Bowen was in sheer disbelief when kobe made that fadeaway in the corner behind the backboard. I love it when number 8 does that.Smush played well and Luke walton had a double . What's amazing is that we did this all without Kobe being kobe. Yeah he had like 5 incredible reverses but he's jumpshot was off and he realised that and started driving. Kobe's assist count again is decieving because he was actually iniating the offense for a period. And one more thing. KWAME BROWN put duncan in his place
Congrats to the lakers. One of the few times I rooted for them to win and they pulled it off. Kobe was clutch in the 4th quarter. Nothing new but doing it against the spurs is impressive.
Damn Kobe in the 4th... still trying to figure out how he pulled those moves off.GREAT win.7th seed now

Kobe is practically carrying that team but I guess that's not enough to win the MVP. Nash has Marion and Diaw and Dirk has a lot of young talent. Kobe only has Odom and a point guard that should be a backup as well as the center. I think I would pick Kobe as MVP.
I had tmac as my mvp if the rockets made the playoffs but he's gone for 6 weeks. If the lakers can snatch a 6th seed kobe deserves to be in serious contention.
