Re: HUGE win over Detroit! Hellz yeah, man, we beat the Detroit Pisstons tonite not letting them get their 50th win on the season. It really was a great game to watch on TV, so many amazing plays from the Wizards. Gilbert Arenas proves the critics (Flip Saunders) wrong as he always has done, finishing with 34 pts, 6 asts, 3 stls, and 4 3pters. Arenas' side man in Caron Butler had 30 pts (10-14 fg!), 7 rebs and he also nailed 4 3pters. Washington also got great production from Antonio Daniels who scored 16 pts and dished out 7 dimes, starting in place of Jared Jeffries. Rasheed Wallace had 18pts and 8 rebs, and newly aquired Tony Delk showed a good performane, scoring 16 pts off the bench in 22 minutes. But how about the Wizards' interior defense of Ben Wallace? He only had 3 pts, grabbed a measly 4 rebounds, and didnt block ANY shots. FINAL SCOREPISTONS 92WIZARDS 110This is a great win, after the the tough losses to Boston and Miami. We need some momentum coming into our long west coast road trip. The good thing about this win is that we dont fall in the standings, and that we have two back-to-back games against Charlotte next. Re: HUGE win over Detroit! Congrats to the Wizards. Detroit has really fallen apart in the last month. Their defense isn't quite along with their offense dipping as of late. I think losing Arrojo off the bench was a loss in that Billups was able to get more rest time without the team going south.

Seem like many were happy to see him go because of his play, turnovers and reckless style. Also, they picked up Delk and Hunter is enough for Billups backups.It's the only regular season guys, losses occur.
