the difference between the isiah and colangelo era, is that isiah was always on the fringes in new york and colangelo unfortunately will be a permanent fixture in toronto in perpetuity
Do you think it could be due to youth or coaching? The Raptors weren't really the favorites to win the series either.
Wow...hard to watch. And Jose is a moron. Give the ball to Marion off the break. The Raptors don't run shit. They catch the ball and Andrea stands there and waits for Jose. Just throw the fucking ball up court to Marion, he's not Moon. Fucking stupid. If I were Marion, I'd be pissed.
We weren't thaaat young. Sure Bosh hadn't been in the playoffs. But Parker, Garbajosa, Nesterovic, Ford, and Mo-Pete had all been there before. We lost mostly because of strategic problems. Our lack of off-the-ball movement. Our inability to get Bosh open before he got the ball (to counter the Nets' double/triple teaming). Our refusal to make sure AP was on Vince Carter all the time. We should have been able to beat that Nets team.
Marion looks like he's playing from a completely different playbook than the rest of the team. It's pretty sad actually.
Lol, Marion is thinking "Alright, we get the ball and I run down court...." Jose: "Get the ball, pause, dirbble for 18 seconds, throw it in to Bosh, and he can do the rest".
to which triano says, "i drew that shit up, yeah i used that same play against the sudanese national team"
I feel your pain, Raps fans. I've witnessed, if you can believe it, worse play in the past couple of seasons.
Oh there's no way I'd equate this team to the past couple years of Knicks basketball. If this is a pity party you win in a blowout, MrJ.
i was thinking the same thing, its kind of reminiscent of what they did against cleveland in that first quarter where the cavs outscored them by 20 in that quarter alone.
