Wow, I'm so disappointed after this loss. I thought I'd be better after a went to bed, but wow... It would have been soo nice to win goin' into the break.

Awesome. With Houston seriously injured I really hope we can make a break from 5-9. GO BLAZERS! *thanks Minstrel for putting that up*
Portland is 9-3 in their last 12 games. You wouldn't know it by some of the complaints around here. Teams behind us: In that same span New Orleans is 5-7, Utah is 7-5, Phoenix is 7-5, Houston is 7-5, Dallas is 8-4 Teams ahead of us: San Antonio is 8-4, Denver is 9-3, the Lakers are 10-2 Some perspective: Portland climbed the ranks in that span and has a gap to gain ground on before reaching 3rd place. I'm not saying that will happen, but Portland has been playing pretty well compared to other teams.
Re: Nuggets going down at Milwaukie Don't start with this optimistism crap. We're a lottery team, remember.
One loss behind Denver. It will be a long road, but it is possible. Honestly, a 4th spot is almost as good as 3rd. I just hope we don't slip down below 4th.
Completely disagree. I have no desire to be in the same half of the bracket as the Lakers. Personally, if it turned out that we weren't going to win the division, then I'd rather we end up the 6th seed than the 4th.
Yup. 3 seed >> 4 seed, since it means not seeing the Lakers til the Western Conference Finals, if ever.
I wouldn't go that far. I think a big success would be to get into the second round this year. Unless this team gets a lot better on the road, that means having home court in the first round. In the second round (without home court) we are likely to get beat either way. For me, I would like to catch the Lakers sleeping in the second round and send them home early. Unrealistic, but I can dream can't I?
In the 4 Power Rankings i've checked today... We are 7th in 3 of them and 6th in one... It goes... LA CLE BOS SA ORL DEN PDX I think that is my top 7 right now... Utah, Houston and Dallas or New Orleans rounding out my top 10 with PHX at 12.
Already talking about getting to the second round? haha.. To be the best, you've got to beat the best. Bring LA on!! The RG would go NUTS if we had LA in a playoff series again. Personally, I'd love it.
Suns lose...rockets win. now we have a 3 and half game lead over the suns for the 8th spot. IF ..... IF we beat minny (which a playoff team should or would) then it will be a nice 4 game lead at the months end. WE NEED TO BEAT MINNY BADLY....
