Hmm. This sounds familiar. Oh yea! A few years back, the Blazers thought they had a done deal to trade SAR to the Nets, and Thorn derailed it by trying to change the terms at the last minute. Not that I would ever accuse KP of anything as trite as payback.....but Chris Wallace might want to sleep with the light on for awhile.

I think he was trying for the Grand Slam (ie Caron Butler), and had to talk the value of his assets and all the many options he supposedly had in order to flush out the best offer(s) possible. You think Thorn was "dicked around" by KP? Maybe. But, I doubt Thorn would put up with much. However, the entire league knows that Thorn is a HUGE dick in trade talks. Well established. So, yeah, whatever. No sympathy for Thorn - who FUCKED us over on the SAR trade back in the day - who is a big boy and can take care of himself.
