Colangelo likes his big men totally void of athletic prowess, i.e. bargnani, jake, jawai and pat obryant. is this a coincidence or is it by design? whatever the reason, this needs to change in a hurry
Well only one of them I'd consider represents any tendency. Jake, Jawai, and O'Bryant are all bench scrubs and were brought in under that expectation. The dude did draft Amare in Phoenix.
yeah, he also traded for joe johnson and diaw when they were unknown commodities but that was phoenix and in toronto i can only think of one positive move and that was trading hoffa for kris.
probably the most overrated trade in raptor history considering that kris has been predominately a bench player as a rap, the same thing hoffa was.
A good trade it was, but is Humphries more than a black hole? For every good thing he does on the court, he forces the hell out of something to override it.
for a dude who claims to have watched basketball intently for 9 years, u have as much basketball knowledge as my left testicle. kris humpries was a bench player in utah and guess what he's still a bench player in t.dot. in terms of underrated trades in raptor history- i would maybe go with vince for antawn jamison on draft day or maybe AD for the #5 pick (jonathan bender) or maybe even an aging mark jackson for chris childs.
^Man, you're easy to get going. It's obviously a joke, and if your left testicle has the basketball knowledge I have, than it must be the size of Dwight Howard.
LMAO, vintage deception. Good to have you back. As for Colangelo, I don't care what he does with his big men as long as his teams win. We had our best season with Nesterovic at center.
Don't look now but Bosh's athleticism has gone out the window the last two years as well. The gazelle of 2004 is the tin man of 2009. He runs like his legs are in casts.
I'll have to pay more attention in the next couple weeks. I've yet to notice that. Humphries is an improvement over Hoffa, but the dude has a Jamario Moon mindset on offense. That was the scouting report on him coming out of Utah though, so it's not like we should be surprised.
