More than you hate seeing Channing get meaningful minutes? Channing's a good guy, but I have been very disappointed in his play this season. What defines meaningful minutes? Is a 4 - 5 minute stretch in the 2nd quarter considered "meaningful" minute? BNM
Way more than seeing Channing out there. Channing hasn't gotten meaningful minutes this year. He has played recently because oden is out. Otherwise, he wouldn't be. But I would have him well ahead of Shavlik.
I felt the same way coming into the season. Now, not so much. After the way Channing finished last season, I thought he'd make a great back-up for LaMarcus. His play this season has proven that hypothesis incorrect. BNM
In order to have the 9 man rotation we want, though, i don't think he should have a specific backup. Ithink we need Travis to take that role, to backup both SF and PF. But, if we had to go with one, I would easily take Channing over Shavlik.
