http://blog.oregonlive.com/behindblazersbeat/2009/02/a_gauge_of_where_the_trail_bla.html Didnt i hear or read the same crap a few weeks ago? Cause thats what it is.... pure crap. We hera this everytime the blazers go on the road. "Now is the time to prove themselves" or "one game at a time" or "gotta win on the road" We just heard this when we got beat down by dallas and okc if i remember correctly. i mean, what has changed from then to now? why should any blazer fan feel like this trip against harder teams will be different? I just really dont see the point of this article. The outcome of our little road trip is as predictable as a lakers - kings game.
I'm fairly critical of the team, but this is just ridiculous. At this point, he's just making things up. On another thread, he said we beat ATL because they didn't "shoot well." Well, if I recall correctly, they shot 49%, and it was the Blazers dominance of the boards that allowed them to pick up the victory. Seriously, he has to COME UP with obscure reasons why we win games. I expect him to say: "WOW, if the Clippers shot 100% from the field, guess what? THEY WOULD HAVE WON. Sorry, but it's the truth."

I got your gauge right here: http://www.nba.com/standings/team_record_comparison/conferenceNew_Std_Cnf.html
I hope they do well on this trip, but loosing to good teams on the road is no big thing. Mix, could you please quote the last time you rooted for the team on this forum? I honestly can't remember, but I don't read all of the threads, either.
