He has a meeting today with Walsh and league leaders I guess. Lets hope things go well for him and he gets bought out. (then we sign him) ;)

I'm not that excited about the prospect of bringing in a me-first player who has shown time and time again he doesn't have the first clue as to how to make his team a winner, even though he's a PG and that's primairly the job of any PG.

He's hungry to play ball I bet. Plus we have KG here so he will not have a 'me' mentality as long as KG is the leader of this team.

yeah it worked real well in Minny :)

Starbury is a low risk pick up because if he doesn't 'play ball' he'll be dropped like a bad habit and yeah he has talent, but what if he's not a malcontent but rather just a selfish and clueless backup PG who makes shitty decisions?? Doc has a tendancy to not always handle those situations well.

that said we do need a reliable backup PG and so long as Marbury is content and Doc doesn't cut heavily into Rondo's minutes it COULD be a decent pick up.

what's funny though, is none of these vets are clamouring to go to LA.... guess playing with Kobe isn't all it's cracked up to be.
