Danny must be pretty confident that none of the other bigs will get bought out or else he wouldn't have done it. The question you have to ask yourself if you are going to whine about this is: do we want Mikki Moore or nothing? If Joe Smith gets bought out, I'll be upset about this, but I don't think thats going to happen.
I wonder what he can do for the Celtics. He played well with the Nets when Krstic was out and Kidd helped him. Then he was quieter in Sacremento. Let's see what Boston holds for him.
He better play good or else we'll cut him again. (he played 3 games with the celtics few years ago lol)
OOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Give me one reason why Danny jumping a week ahead of the deadline and signing this useless, skill-less player (no one has even refuted that yet, everyone is just spewing garbage about 'omg he haz hart heel hussel heel play wif enagee!') was a good move, especially considering that more, much better players could be bought out (Marbury already being bought out), and we'll only have one other spot open? Now this time, instead of giving me some retarded 'L0L UR A LITTIL KID' response, actually tell me why this is a worthwhile move. Or at least try. Okay? Okay.
BUT HE PLAYZ WIF HUSSEL AND HART HE HAZ BETTR PERSONALLATEE THAN OTHR PLAYRZ BEEING BAWT OUT AND HIZ DREDLOX MAKE ME SMILE
We basically traded Cassell and O'Bryant for Marbury and Moore. Is that bad? I know you want somebody better, but who else is there? Do you think Danny would have signed Moore if he thought Joe Smith or Drew Gooden was going to get bought out? He knows better than we do because he talks to the other GMs regularly. Like I said earlier, if one of those guys ends up an FA before the deadline, I'll agree with you, but I'm pretty confident Danny did his research this time. I'm sorry, you just love to complain. You will complain about anything you can think of. I responded to you with something that was obviously meant as a joke, no need to get all upset about it.
Plus we're getting Cassell back as an assistant pretty soon so it was O'Bryant and cash for the pick and Moore + Marbury. Danny sure knows how to make deals. lol
LOL. Way to throw 'we traded Cassell for Marbury' in there to make this seem like anything but shit. Why is signing a dog like Moore a week before we have to make our move a good thing? The free roster spot >>> Moore. He sucks, for the trillionth time. Nobody has even told me how Moore helps the team. You all just cling to the fact that he's seven feet tall and he hustles. Well whoop-de-fuckin-doo. He can't do anything an NBA big man should be able to do (rebound, defend, block). I'm not asking him to be an all-star, I don't want a 20/10 guy, all I want is someone who can actually give us some productivity out there. Moore does nothing. Jason Collins would be more useful than Moore, he at least can play some defense (despite being almost equally useless on the boards). And went out of his way to jump the gun and sign someone who won't even play come playoff time, because he's a liability on the court. Perfect. If that's all this is on my part, useless complaining, why haven't you or anyone else refuted my key points? You just keep changing the story/scenario for this guy.
Yeah let's celebrate, until Joe Smith gets bought out and we have nowhere to put him, so we either have to watch him go to Cleveland or release a young guy like Pruitt to make room. All aboard the fail train!!
Dude even without Marbury and Moore we had a championship caliber team and I was perfectly fine with them going into the playoffs like that. Now we get a TRUE backup CENTER, who will actually play and backup Perk (unlike POB), and a TRUE backup POINTGUARD in Marbury, who actually can even start some games if need be. Now if that doesn't help us, then no one else can. You're just pissed we didn't get Smith and it didn't go your way so now you're acting like we're going to FAIL and not even make it out of the first round because of that. Just chill man and enjoy the ride. I know I will.
