We all Know lakers-Celtics but which others are huge, my favorite among recent years was always the lakers kings, and back in the day, the Pistons and Bulls.

Lakers vs Kings was my favourite because that's the only one i remember perfectly. The teams clearly disliked eachother especially Shaq and Mr Flopper.

i loved the lakers vs kings. every game was exciting. they never let me down. shaq and kobe vs bibby and webber. i liked the kings in this matchup cuz i love mike bibby and webber.another rivalry i'd like to add is the heat vs knicks. this rivalry was so intense. there were a few fights, one with JVG holding onto Zo's leg another was a bench clearing brawl. the knicks won all of the series except for one i believe. i think the knicks also beat them as a 7th and 8th seed. i just loved that rivalry. tim hardaway, zo, mashburn, pj brown vs ewing, starks, oakley, camby, houston, spree. also forget houstons leaner that catapulted the knicks to the finals in the 1st round round against the heat as the 8th seed.

We hated the Knicks with a passion. Now that the Knicks are bad, we feel bad because we want them to stink but its not much fun when they are not good. Its a weird feeling.

There really isn't any great rivalries anymore, but Celtics vs. Pistons or Lakers was great.

The Lakers-Kings rivalry is begining to come back. With Ron Artest saying that he would shut Kobe down.

So much tention between the two and seemed like every game was always a thriller. There was just nothing like it. The Knicks usually got the better end of us though. :no1:

I say the Bulls and the Pistons had one of the best rivalries out there.

You're an idiot. Celtics-Sixers or Knicks are just as big of rivalries as those.

Bulls-Pistons is a big rivalry right now?Not to rain on ya'lls east coasters parade, but I'd like to add Dallas/SA, and SA/PHX, and even DAllas/PHX the last several years.

The Lakers- Kings games were alwyas a blast to watch, but the Lakers always won. You kind of knew it was goig to happen. With the Bulls and Pistons however, the Pistons on some, and the Bulls won some. That has to be more of a rivalry, because to be a definate rivalry, both teams have to win. However that Lakers and Kings rivalry was still fun

Pistons fans vs Ron Artest. They obviously hate him, and he obviously hates them. For real though, on the court, the Heat and Knicks was a great rivalry in the 90's. Both teams hated each other so much, and it usually showed on the court. These days, i guess the best rivalry i see is Sacramento and the LA Lakers. It has calmed down a bit since shaq left, but it still seems that these two teams don't like each other a whole lot.

Well, yea the Celtics vs Lakers was for sure the biggest rivalry, Bird vs Magic, Wilt vs Russell, and after that one Laker/Celtic game this year (the one that it went down to the buzzer and Odom was wide open under the hoop to win it, but they thought they should give Kobe the ball, he missed, it was close, but he missed and the Celtics won), that game gave me a sense of the old rivalry, Paul vs Kobe, who knows, maybe we can get a nice little Celtic/Laker rivalry again. We don't have enough rivalrys anymore, which is sad. But the "Bad boys" vs the Bulls was a huge one (the Pistons had the Jordan rules and the Bulls had Jordan). The Bulls had a lot of little rivals back in the day.

Pistons and Bulls were an awesome rivalry, the "Bad Boys" always played so physical and hard but no matter how much they tried the Bulls were to much.

Yeah, Pistons and Bulls was huge. I mean Isiah v.s. Michael. It was a flat out battle. Magic v.s. Bird was huge too. But i loved at the end of their rivalry Magic gave Bird his autographed jersey and Bird gave him his.
