He's worth more than a minimum contract. He's not my favorite player by any means, but he's still worth more than a minimum. He's not a terrible player, he's actually got a lot of caliber. I'd say he can get atleast 7 million per year.
^ no ones guna sign him for more than the minimum for at least the remainder or the year, and if someone wants to bring him on next year im sure he won't get more than 3-5 mill
Well of course not this year he won't. Especially if he is in discussion with Boston. I am just speaking from a general stand point.
Exactly as a player, he's that talented and can even start as a PG for some teams. (so of course he's worth 5+ mill a year) But because of what happened this year, lot of teams are not willing to pay that amount.
I'll laugh if Smith gets bought out too, but we can only have one of these guys because the C's wasted their time with captain useless (mikki moore).
