What were the best and worst signings of this season? The best I am gonna have to say is the Spurs signing Michale Finley. If there was any doubts that the Spurs were gonna win the NBA title before they signed him. Im sure him on the team shut alot of people up real quick. He brings so much veteran leadership to go along with great offensive skills. You wont get a player as good as Finley the cheap 2.6 million they payed him.for the worst I have to go withThe Celtics signing Brian Scalabrine for 5 years 15 million. This made no sense to me because they already had a good core of young Forwards. They have Justin Reed,Kendrick Perkins,Al Jefferson,Wally Szczerbiak ,Gerald Green ,and Ryan Gomes.Hes averaging 3 points and 1 rebounds while shooting 35% from the field. OUCH
Best Michael Finley? He's past his prime and is inconsistent with his offense. He brings nothing but shooting now.For best it's hard, I like Hawks signing of Zaza Pachulia, nice steal at the price. Also, Kings signing of Shareef, despite his past, he was a great pickup for them at PF. And Cuttino Mobley, whose fitting nicely with the Clippers, very underrated signing. Nothing jumps out at me though.Worst I'd say Jerome James. No explanation needed.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Celtics signing Brian Scalabrine for 5 years 15 million. Green, Wally are guards, Gomes is a tweener, only ones that are real power forwards are Jefferson and maybe Perk. Perk is more of a center. You should have said Raef. Also, it's not that bad of a deal, at 3 mil a year.Another name I'd throw out there is Stro Swift, who got paid the MLE and is playing behind Juwan Howard and had high expectations from every Rockets fan.

As well as Green and Wally. Sure they play the 2 guard but most forwards do.

I would say the best was Cuttino Mobley. He is a big part of the Cilppers success. The worst is Scalabrine. Waste of money, and zero production. Celtics management made a mistake in that one.
I liked Scallops when he was a Net. He brought good energy off the bench. But still is not worth whats Celts are paying him.
how could anyone forget this? jerome james 5 years 30 mil. jerome james is probably the worst big man ever. his foul average per 48 minutes is 13. the only reason he blocks shots is because he just plays to use up fouls for the starting center so eventually one of his hacks will turn into a block. this has gotta be one top 5 worst acquisitions made by isiah.

Antonio Daniels seemed like a bad signing for Washington in the beginning of the year, but has really picked up his game so it has been a decent signing. And if he REALLY starts to decline, we can always buy out his contract or trade him.
I don't know if he was the worst, but Larry Hughes has really done nothing this year. Alot of people are saying LeBron is putting up better numbers because of his teammates, but in honesty Damon Jones is playing horribly and Donyell marshall is shooting worse than he did in Chicago.
