lets face it.... since the trade deadline....

the blazers have been a disaster on and off the court

    first no trades

then oden is out all weekend

    then webster out for season

then we lose to Hou and SA

odens still out and we are losing ground every night

Are you suggesting they file a grievance with the league and try to force him to play? I'm not sure how else the team can handle it. Oden says it's "up to him" as far as his return, and he isn't playing. The only options the team have are to let him come back at his own pace, or they try and claim that Oden is healthy and refusing to play. The latter simply is not a possibility for many reasons, mainly that I'm sure Oden still has some discomfort in his knee.

I just want some fucking answers, that's all. I'm tired of playing the guessing game with Oden.

Greg Oden is listed as out for Friday's game at Minnesota. Oden worked out with the team today and did some light running.

    how about that!!!!! he moved!

Btw, Idk if anyone else remembers, but remember when Greg had his draft workout for the Blazers and it looked like he was a tad out of shape? It was later believed to be his tonsils, but knowing what we know now, maybe Greg just wasn't staying in shape? Who knows.

Honestly, if the doctors don't see anything wrong with him and clear him to play, he should. No one's ever 100%, there's always some small pain or another, but if it's nothing serious, then play.

based on what the portland doctors have done thus far this season, i'd trust a player if they don't feel they can play.

Ya know maybe we're looking at this the wrong way. Greg has pretty much NOT PLAYED himself into not being a franchise player for any team. He's now a great backup for Joel and we'll be able to resign him for what we want. He pans out great, he stays this way, he's good for some blocks and he's a huge inside body while Joel rests. Our version of Micheal CandyMan. It's funny Greg made fun of the candyman in a draft day interview. Karma!

    Oh well.....

How serious of an injury can it be? after he hit magg', he still came back and played for 6 min. He is cleared by the doctors, so it can't be anything serious. Ok, so maybe he is feeling some "discomfort", but so what? if decides to not play for every little discomfort he' gonna feel from now on, he's not gonna play very much, based on his injury history.

What does it matter? They hardly used him when he was in. He is wide open all the time in the paint and dudes look right at him and don't pass him the ball. He might as well take the night off.

Man this is just so FUCKING STRANGE!!!! The way we talk about ODEN now. Two years ago it was like winning a perfect 12 karat diamond to only find out that when it was appraised it has a huge hairline crack in it!

It's unfortunate, but I would rather have him take twice as long as he "needs" in order to be fully healthy.

It's just a matter of time before the Blazer fans rail him out of town, I can tell already. Because the problem can't possibly be Nate and the other players on the team.......

I can't think of a SF in the league I would want more than Durant. He is young, could grow with Roy and Aldridge and some are predicting he will be the scoring leader in a few years.

I haven't given up on Oden, but Durant on this young Blazer team would ensure they would be a dynasty for years to come . . . no I don't have a link, just personal opinion.
