Love the site, but there seems to be a lot of locked threads these days . . . in the OT forum no less. I kind of see the OT forum as a place where we can "take it outside" kind of thing. This is where some of us come to vent (and maybe be a bit mean), but better here than on the main forum. Anyways, thought I would throw it out there as a suggestion to be a little more liberal with the moderating in the OT forum v. the main forum. Others agree or like the locking of thread that get "out of control?"
Really? The only threads I've seen locked were one from a banned member and one about how people should kill cops and firemen (which was allowed for like 3 pages before locked).
Been a couple more . . . but sounds like you agree to the locking of the threads. Just trying to get a feel on it . . .
Can you give me an example of a thread you feel was locked unjustly? I generally feel we moderators of this forum are pretty laissez faire and only lock threads rarely.
Mods/staff are not told to lock threads, it's at their discretion. When it comes to Ed O, Minstrel, and Barfo, I think we all respect their judgment when it comes to these things...
