Dang, that sounds like a GREAT time! I'll tell my wife about that.

My Niece and her husband live in San Fran, so we'll be staying with them. When I do a Google map search, I see they live next to The Presido off Broadway (Webster.)

ABM, when in Santa Fe, have breakfast at the Cloud Cliff Cafe. Have dinner at Tomacita's. Make sure to get a margarita with dinner--you'll thank me later if you remember anything. If you're doing some sightseeing, head up to Taos (only about 45 min).

Wouldn't it be better if he ate some asparagus and took some Vitamin B and peed on the side of the arena in Sonic Gold?

They're a 30-45 minutes from one another, so it's no big deal. However, stay in Santa Fe. There are inexpensive motels along Cerrillos Road.

    Duly bookmarked. Thanks!

PS: Wish we could go through Denver so that I could buy you that meal and drinks as promised. However, we'll be staying south as the wife has good friends in Phoenix. My Niece is in San Francisco.

I'm a couple miles to the West and will happily make suggestions on what to do here but more feedback on what you like to do would help. A real nice days activity is to rent bikes at Blazing Saddles near the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero at the end of Market street. Then bike along the outer edge of the city counter clockwise along a bike path past Sea Lions and through various greenspaces and water access areas until you cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Continue on to Sausalito where you can eat, shop, and catch a ferry back to where you rented your bike. Round trip is 15 miles or so and really not that big of a deal.

PM me if you want further help/suggestions or to throw back a soda

Hey, ABM, if you end up going up through "wine country," in Northern California, make sure to stop at Russian River Brewing in Santa Rosa. If you enjoy tasty brew... you don't wanna miss this joint. They have some of the best microbrews I've ever had and an awesome Happy Hour to boot (I think it's 3-7 p.m. and the beers were about $1.75/pint).

Fow what it's worth (i.e. nothing), my favorite beer that I tried there was Pliny The Elder! Unreal--wish I had it on tap, at home!

    Thanks for that. :)

Yeah, really, the only reason we're even stopping in OKC is because my wife has family there she hasn't seen in years. Hopefully, we can time it so that we can see the Blazers when they're there on April 3rd. :D

    Nashville - Ribs

    Memphis - Ribs

    Oklahoma City - More ribs

Santa Fe - I'd try the ribs here if I were you

Phoenix - Go to baseball game. Maybe go out for some ribs after.

San Luis Obispo (or somewhere nearby) No idea. Ribs maybe?

San Francisco (and Napa wine country??) A nice chianti with ribs.

    Eureka I believe there's a nice Tony Roma's there.

If you are going to Phoenix you might want to go up through (whats that little minning town built right on the side of a hill?) and on up to Sedona and up Red Canyon toward Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. Just thoughts.

ABM - If, when you get to S.F., you guys are pooed and want to relax, head to Calistoga (next to Napa), go to Indian Springs Spa and have a mud bath and mineral water soak. It's not crazy expensive, not fancy shmancy, but it is fantastic.

In S.F., check out House of Nanking or Hunan Restaurant. If you go up the coast and hit Eureka, Lufenholtz Beach near Arcata is gorgeous.

    Have a great trip!

EXACTLTY the reason why I loves this place so much! It's much, much more than simply out Blazer basketball to me. :)

Thanks. And, I'm sure my wife thanks you, as well. She has a bad back so, I'm sure, would love Indian Springs Spa!

    Thanks again,

    ABM
