But, then again, perhaps it's sage nutrition to chew on................awhile longer. Here's a timely reality check from The Columbian's Brian Hendrickson
Well stated. WE are nowhere near a lock for teh playoffs. As of right now, I feel we are probably the 8th best team in the West... I think we are better than PHX. 8 may very well be where we end up, but I think we can pull out a 7. Protect our home court, win all the winnable road games, and then compete in the road games vs. good teams and give ourselves a chance to pull a couple out. Do that, and we will be alright.
why do you think i was so upset when we didnt trade? this currnt roster isnt good enough to make the playoffs, ive been saying it since november. we will finish 9th. i just wonder how long we stay in the race with pho? Will it go down to the wire or will it end in late march or early april?
Because pretty as things may appear right now, that just might be the position where the Blazers realistically belong. IVE BEEN SAYING THIS SINCE JANUARY AND HAVE BEEN KILLED ON HERE.
Trades (replete with the ensuing contracts, team chemistry, rotations, etc.) sometimes bring their own ramifications. I'm still trusting in KP. The Blazers have improved each and every year under his watch. I'm certainly not going to trash him at this point in time.
