Do we still have the headband rule? Because I was wondering why Salmons hasnt been wearing his, which has made me question whether the rule was one that Skiles implemented or JR did.
Yeah they still have it. I think it was KC Johnson who had brought it up a week or so ago, joking that the Bulls would have to re-think the rule if we ever got LeBron. lol.
The rule would no longer exist if we netted Lebron cuz Lebron loves his headbands. I doubt Lebron wouldn't want to play for a team that has a no headband rule. Exactly why do the Bulls have that rule?
I think it was a Skiles rule, but Paxson liked and supported it so he kept it on. Probably the same with the rules for shirts always tucked in on the floor and mandatory taped ankles.
Ben Wallace got in trouble for wearing his a few years ago. The rule is pretty silly as headbands actually serve a purpose.
I thought it was actually all on Paxson. Or at least that's what he said about it when the Wallace thing hit the fan. Skiles looks like the sort of man who should appreciate the value of a good head band. From the looks of recent pictures, I bet Pax is coming around too.
Skiles has let Villanueva continue to wear one in Milwaukee FWIW (although that might just be because Charlie doesn't have eyebrows).
Eddie Robinson used to wear it around his neck, and someone, I forget who (I think Eddy Curry) used to wear it sideways/crooked. So they said no headbands.
