Rockets and SonicsRockets were expected to be 4th in the West. Look where they are now. It's not just the injuries that have set them back. Their guards havn't been playing well at all. And yeah, TMac and Yao were both injured which really hurt them. Stro Swift wasn't playing much and they had to start Deke when Yao was out, Deke can block shots but he is nothing scoring wise and he is very old/slow.Sonics have just fell apart once Nate McMillan left. They are playing piss poor defense. And Weiss did a horrible job coaching them. I thought they would still get like the 6th seed or something but they are pretty much out of it now. Their bad season can be mostly credited to their piss p[oor defense though. Probably the worst in the League. guys like Shard and Ray are playing well but it's just not enough. The only positive I would say is the progression of Ridnour and Nick Collison.

I really didn't expect the Sonics to do much. Rockets had some injury problems, so you can't really blame them. My Cs have disappointed me.

Knicks, I hate them more than any team but I figured with Larry Brown, Stephon, Jamal, QRich, and now Steve they should have done better than the worst record in the league.

hands down the knicks. no one thought they would be the worst team in the league after acquiring eddy curry and larry brown along with 3 great rookies. they were expected to at least be compete for a playoff spot not be the laughing stock of the nba. as a die hard knicks fan they were by far the biggest disappointment. i expected a lot from them not this garbage.

Knicks... Everything looked good before the season started. Hall of Fame coach(Brown), star point guard(Marbury), 3 point champ(Q), outstanding rookie(Frye), big man(Curry), etc. They just don't know what they're doing out there.Pathetic and Embarassing

They even got a former allstar Steve Francis, and he isn't doing much at all. They better hold on to the young players, losing Trevor Ariza was bad enough already. Isiah better do well in this years draft too.

With our luck they'll draft another "shoot-first" point guard or "small" shooting guard. The Knicks have like 5 shooting guards...(Steph, Nate, Q, Jamal, Francis)and not one pure point guard.

New Jersey, I thought they would be up there in the standings with Detroit and Miami, because of all their key players are healthy, and that VC has learned the offense and defense, being a mid-season aqquisition for New Jersey. If they got SAR they would have become a contender. Anyways, they're at least above .500 but they should be lucky they play in a verrrrrrry weak division.

You can't say they're the most disappointing when they're going to easily make the playoffs and they're still one of the top teams in the east.

sonics and knicks because the knicks have alot of talent but it just isnt workin. and seattle has two of the top 40 most talented players in lewis and allen but they havent been winning games and also the have ridnour and he headed to the olympics. ohh yea warriors too because I'm a huge B diddy fan but I think their problem is that they need some one else to help the team.

BD has a piss-poor attitude, and he's not dependable. He can't stay healthy, and he's turnover prone and he plays no defense at all. He's as much the problem as anyone else.

The Knicks have just been horrible. With aqquiring Larry Brown people thought they could do some damage. But all their doing is damaging themselves.

Houston Rockets...The Rockets are a pile of steaming crap when they have Yao and Mac out. They don't know what to do. They need to learn WHEN to step up and HOW to step up. The only person I see steping up is Luther Head and Rafer. Juwan is a turnover machine, Swift ain't playing like hes supposed to, David Wesley is getting old and is taking stupid shots and Deke is getting old. Injuries have hurt us. We need to make big changes in the off season. If somehow McGrady gets back to normal...I say we are a contender.

The three best options are the Rockets, Knicks, and Sonics. The Knicks weren't going to be that good, even if they were in the playoff race or Atlantic winner hunt, they still wouldn't be close to .500.The Sonics weren't going to repeat the success of last season, and I knew that when they let their Head Coach walk. The Rockets, as well as a few other teams, were supposed to surpass the Mavs as the second best team in the West and be legitimate challengers to the Spurs....well, they aren't either one of those...Sot that's my pick, the Rockets.

The Rockets are by far the most dissapointing at this time. Everyone expected them to be a playoff squad, 4-5 seed in majority. However, they are at the bottom of the chase as of now. If anyone actually thought the Knicks would be good, then you need to reevaluate your basketball awareness and knowledge of the game. The Knicks are selfish, have always been selfish, and have players all around that don't know what winning is. Add that to the fact that they got Larry Brown, a coach who will expect them to all dramatically change their games....The combination? Clashing within the locker room, losses, and a Madison Square Garden arena that is actually not sold out everynight.

Larry Brown is an voerrated coach as hell, proof from how he has done this year. All the guy does is trade players like crazy, and try to get everyone to follow him like a king. He's won one championship, and ironically, that was with a team where he was not put in full control of trades. I don't see why anyone thought this team would do well
