....something seems to be very wrong here. Why isn't the organization relating anything? Where are the Quick or Canzano reports? Something.

I really do wish Greg well. It's just very, very frustrating to see him miss game after game with nary a word..................from anyone.

The easiest $10.3 million ever made. The past two seasons it's been the same story with Greg.

Yes, I hate how the organization is leading us blindfolded through a fun house, just fucking let us know what's going on. Obviously he's not day to day because he's missed 2.5 weeks. was he really cleared by a doctor to play or what? Now he's out for a while..WTF?!?!?!

It's sort of funny, I feel like I've developed a gigantic Oden blind-spot, like I only notice he's not in the lineup if I turn my head real quickly and catch him out of the corner of my eye, sitting on the bench in a suit.

As for what's really going on? I don't know and I don't really care ... or at least I'm treating him sort of like the Loch Ness monster; there have been reports and sightings, but no concrete evidence of his existence and I'm not about to start camping out by the lake hoping to catch a glimpse.

I don't count on Oden for anything, anymore. I don't expect him to score, or rebound, or block shots, or to even play on a nightly basis. He's sort of dead to me, if you want to know the truth. I'm tired of his constant injuries, and his inconsistent play, and his disappointing effort. If he turns into something some day, good. But right now . . . meh.

Does the name Darius Miles mean any thing to you? You wanna talk about easy money.

Greg has a lot of pressure on him I would hardly call it easy to rehabilitate yourself from MF surgery and try to become the savior to an NBA team when you barely honed any skills in college...

Darius will likely need a knee replacement if he continues to play at any consistent level. Or are you saying that Oden should be examined by independent doctors at this point as a precaution against permanent injury?

Oden is an afterthought at this point of the season.

You and a few others are the people putting the "savior" tag on him, not anyone else. Hell, people here want Nate fired because he won't run the offense through a guy who has one move and can't stay on the court.

Yes, you've said this more than once. Please elaborate and stop being evasive.

Your fucking bitching and moaning about a guy who has had a number of setbacks and hasn't really gotten his career started. He hasn't even played himself into NBA shape and he leads all rookies in double doubles.

Loose material acts differently in different joints in different people. Sometimes it's absorbed by the body, other times it floats harmlessly and other times it causes irritation.

I'm a Blazer fan. I'm sticking by GO. And fuck the lot of you that toss him overboard by trying to read tea leaves. None of us has any idea what's going on with his knee or what's going on in his head.

Since you added the "stop being evasive" part while I was making my last post, I'll elaborate further. I'm not being evasive. I think there are some in here that are pretty shitty fans and are bitching because a player isn't playing up to the expectations you've set for him in your mind. Is that clear enough?

Who has tossed him overboard? I've consistently said that the team is much better with him on the court. The fact is, most of the time he isn't on the court.

Thanks for at least profanely getting this off of your chest, though. You attributed things to me that I haven't said, but that's your style, and I get it.

Now continue your nonstop criticism of Outlaw.

    +1

And I would add that if you feel like the organization is, or is not, doing an adequate job of informing us of Greg's injury, it's not Greg's fault either way. It seems to me like many are lumping all their negative emotions onto Greg himself.

    Yes, it's everybody's fault but Oden's. It's all a conspiracy against him.

Read the thread - there are multiple remarks regarding disappointment from a lack of info from the organization, as well as reporters. All I'm saying is that isn't Greg's fault. Thanks for putting words into my mouth though.

Actually, you can edit your post without there being a time stamp. You just have to do it in a certain time. I added a sentence to this post without there being a stamp put on it. not that this is related to any basketball discussion.

Then explain how two consecutive posts where I quoted you are different? I didn't change them. And if you go back and rewrite within a certain period of time, no edit notation shows up. But you feel free to call me anything you wish.
