<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ace_o_spades @ Mar 21 2006, 07:46 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>As for the post, the Nets are in good shape heading into the stretch run. They're on a 6 game streak, blowing out one of the best teams in the league in the process. The real test is near the end of the month, the 26th and 27th I believe we have a back to back with Phoenix and Detroit. If we can get a split or a sweep then our confidence should go through the roofI beg to differ. Are you among the scores of people who believe the Heat are now title contenders because they beat like 15 lottery bound teams? Seriously, during their hot streak, they only have one quality win and that is over Detroit in which it took a mirace finish by Dwyane Wade to battle back from a double digit deficit. And I do believe the Nets took two of three against Miami, should have been a season sweep but a BS non call in November proved otherwise. It's all good tho, we'll see them come playoff time. The Nets play a style that gives Miami problems. In other words, they have a center who can shoot from 15 ft out</div>Come on, in the playoffs, you won't last to play the Heat. In a 7 game series there are some verykey matchups in the post. Shaquille O'Neal against Marc Jackson or Nenad Krstic? Hmm..you guys couldn't better the Heat even with your "big 3". The Heat have too many scoring options for you to handle.

First off, if Collins can handle Shaq like last game, we will be fine. I know Walker will have a good series but hopefully Kidd will get his scoring back.Talk about the age of Kidd too, look at the Heat..

the nets are nothing compared to the heat and pistons. i know you're a nets fan but be realistic. the heat are so deep and the pistons, well they need no explanation. the nets only good players are the big 3. they have no one that can come off the bench besides maybe cliff robinson. the heat got zo, walker and payton.

As of now, the Nets look very good. They are currently leading the Suns, who we recently said were unstoppbale by 16 points... on a back to back! Will they beat Detroit, Miami? Most likely not, but they are sure looking like a team NO ONE wants to face

Just to clear things up, i didn't actually think the suns were unstoppable. I just just making a thread of how Amare was returning and he played well.

No team is unstoppable. Nets just beat Detriot and Suns in back to back nights. Those are the two teams that analysts going to the finals now with the return of Amare. With Frank preaching defense we have been playing so much better. We held Billups to 9 points and Nash and Amare to zero. Defense has been key to our 9 game winning streak. What bothers me more is how much attention other teams get. Nuggets are worshiped like Gods by ESPN and others yet they have the same record as them. I hope the Nets can prove haters wrong because they seem to be going under the radar which isn't always bad.
