    It's fine to bring up when it's relevant to the discussion, but TheBeef goes out of his way to bring it up as often as possible. There's no point to it, unless his intention is to derail threads or have people ignore his posts. We get it already.

    Celtics are as impressive as the Miami Heat this decade until further notice. Spurs are an amazing organization, they just aren't competitive enough this season to matter.

    As for the report about BB turning down a high draft pick, I just really doubt that. The guy is a jerk to various people but he's on top of his game and wouldn't screw himself for someone that left the organization. He'd only put himself out there (insert whatever accusation here) for the Pats imo.

    All I said is that the Patriots are the team of the decade as far as when it comes to winning titles and basically owning other teams time after time again.

    Spurs and Lakers are teams of the decade for Basketball only, while because football is 10x tougher than bball, the Patriots therefore become the team of the decade for all sports.

    In this post, it was relevant....it directly followed the statement of a Pats fan suggesting that they were the most successful franchise of the decade....my rebuttal being: how can a team that was rocked by the worst cheating scandal of the century also be considered the most successful franchise of the decade? If it isnt relevant in that content, then its never relevant....

    If they're 100% clean they sure are the team of the decade for all sports. I don't think they're as dirty as The Beef thinks they are, but your taint makes me put them back down to Earth. I'll probably be saying Lakers a few months from now.

    In fairness to you, I thought it was relevant. One doesn't have to agree with something for it to be considered relevant; so you have a case.
