the cavs didn't have delonte west for any of the games against the lakers and were also missing ilgauskas for one of the laker games. so i'd have to say those results aren't as important.
my point is those games don't give any sort of accurate indication of what to expect in a playoff series and really aren't all that useful in determining who the better team is. when the cavs beat boston on friday without garnett playing(i assume he'll still be out since i haven't heard anything otherwise), do you think that is going to be significant and show the cavs are the better team?
just pretend that they win on friday. i can come back and say they are clearly better than boston because they are ahead 2-1 in the season series, right?
