High praise indeed. But since Pau Gasol was Western Conference player of the month, shouldn't he be at #2 instead of Kobe?
We haven't seen anything yet. Aldridge will be better than Roy. Then Oden will be better than Aldridge.
And then Bayless will be better than Oden, and Batum will be better than Bayless. One small forward to rule them all and in the Rose Garden bind them.
That is about exactly how I would rank 'em. I think CP3 should be ahead of Howard, but other than that.... This year, Roy is exceeding any expectations I ever had for him.
Yeah, I could have never expected this when we first drafted him. I wanted Gay and LA, which still would have turned out pretty well, but damn Roy is a phenom.
I cant totally disagree with that with one exception, I dont think either one of them will ever be as clutch as Roy is and will be. As good as I think and hope they will get I still think Roy will always have the ball in his hands at the end of close games and that says a lot to me. But ... here's to hoping you are right.
And the fact that Brandon has a high basketball IQ and his game is so efficient (assuming that will keep him healthier as the seasons pass) he should be able to contribute well into his 30s. Actually I think a big part of the reason the Blazers have exceeded expectations is because we have a lot of players with a high basketball IQ. And we also have Travis!
