ESPN Radio is reporting that the Cowboys just blew out "the player"....still waiting for confirmation from a second source....
Just heard it on SportsCenter. I'm sorta shocked by this since Jerry said he didn't have intentions on releasing him.
CHEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Hey TO, how does my ass taste you fucking ***got?
I am sure he will sign somewhere: Miami - No, Parcells has been there and didn't enjoy it Buffalo - Maybe, but would TO want to play in such a small market? NY Jets - Maybe, but whos the QB? New England - I can't imagine Belicheck ignoring Parcells experience with TO Pittsburgh - No, team first front office Cincinnati - Maybe, if Palmer wants himm Baltimore - I doubt it, not with a young QB Cleveland - Maybe Indy - I dont see it. Maybe with Dungy gone Tennessee - This is interesting. Vet team, vet coach, vet QB, hes from Tennessee Jacksonville - Maybe, but I doubt it Houston - Maybe San Diego - Would have to be desperate Oakland - Skeletor makes sense Kansas City - Pioli is Parcells son-in-law, not happening Denver - McDaniels is too close to Parcells tree NY Giants - Maybe, but unlikely Philly - Haha, I would pay to see it Washington - This could happen actually Dallas - bridge is burnt Chicago - Maybe, but whos the QB? Minnesota - How desperate are they? Could work Green Bay - Small market, Ted Thompson wouldnt do that to Aaron Rodgers Detroit - Could work, but why would TO go there Tampa Bay - trying to get younger Carolina - Maybe Atlanta - GM is Belicheck protege, not happening New Orleans - Maybe, could work Arizona - would they pay him? SF - bridges burned? Seattle - Could make sense St Louis - rebuilding, not a good situation for TO
After thinking about it and talking to a friend of mine who is also a Cowboys fan, we both felt that this was the best move for Dallas. He's been nothing but a headcase in the locker room as of recent, and that's not something they need. He clearly wasn't getting along with Jason Garrett, Romo or Witten, amongst others. There was no place on this team for someone who is going to create more distractions than what he's worth. Also to put out there, but he is on the decline. He's 35 and not getting any younger, and he's also coming off his worst statistical season since 1997. Throw that in with how much of a distraction he's been, I'm not bothered at all by his leaving, I just hope Roy Williams can be the #1 WR now that we need him to be. As for a possible destination, I really have no idea. My best thought would be Oakland, but will he really sign with a non-contender? I can't imagine he'd do that. However, I don't see many teams taking a risk on him. He's been essentially exiled from two teams now and didn't leave on pleasant terms in SF either. He's been nothing but a headache for every organization that he's played for, so one must wonder if this might have been the final straw for him. I doubt it, since he can still be productive despite his age, but his window is coming very close to being slammed shut when Dallas, the team that gives a lot of people second chances (Pacman, Tank Johnson, etc.) ends up cutting you because you had become too much of a distraction.
