I figured we can use this thread to keep track of all denials of interest in Terrell Owens. The guy attracts such media attention, that I see these denials coming strongly and quickly, as GM's will want to avoid the kind of speculation that distracts a team. I've counted 3 already. According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, these are the teams NOT interested in TO: AFC: Patriots Jets Dolphins Bills Steelers Browns Ravens Bengals Colts Jaguars Texans Chiefs Broncos Chargers NFC: Redskins Cowboys Giants Eagles Vikings Bears Packers Lions Falcons Panthers Bucs Saints Cards Rams Seahawks 49ers
I think Shake's the only Cowboys fan I know who hasn't realized how much better his team is without T.O.
Not true, they'd be better off without Romo, as well. Dude can't win with pressure on. Argue it if you want, but having Owens, even being the headcase he is, took a lot of pressure off of Romo. Raiders or bust. I don't see any team with a legit shot at winning it all taking a shot at him.
Sad really, teams are being so protective with him. I'm sure he'd at least would be very motivated in the short term.
Clarification on this post. I don't think the Cowboys would actually be better without Romo, but I don't think they're a better team.
