Nice signing. He bad year for the Jags in 08 but got no support from his O-Line due to major injuries. Prior to that he was a very solid LT. Seems like consensus among R's fans is that he'll be the RT but I'm not so sure. I think all spots are up for grabs. Logically, you'd think Henderson will keep the LT spot if he keeps up his play- hes got more LT skills with a bit more finesse and pass blocking ability. I'm not sold on him yet because he had some help blocking from FBs, RBs, and TEs but playing next to Gallery ought to help him a lot. Barnes is apparently a much better run blocker than pass blocker and has more power which would indicate him possibly being a RT. Then again, he was a verygood LT prior to last season so maybe he does win the LT job? Pears also has a lot of starting experience at both LT and RT and Denver fans have said he was better at LT. We could still sign or draft more guys as well and McQ has a shot at a T spot or RG though its not that likely that he wins that.

I really hope we get Mack/Unger in the 2nd round though. Our O-Line would be massively improved replacing Kwame Harris and Cornell Green with what appear to be decent starters at either tackle position plus possibly drafting some C's who can play right away and have great potential. And I like our depth better. That O-Line isn't great but its solid and at least has starting caliber players as the starters.

Anyone have any more insight into Khalif Barnes for me? Like I said, appeared to be a very good LT prior to this year then struggled a lot this season. Is he a good fit for the ZBS?
