<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Houston Chronicle - Tracy McGrady said the prognosis that he would be out "up to five weeks" was actually firm doctor's orders. Speaking at the Rockets' annual Tux & Tennies dinner, McGrady repeatedly referred to coming back "next season."He was confident he would fully recover from his injury, a strained lower back. But he could only hope he would not suffer through another season of back spasms."I can't do anything physical until five weeks (from last week's diagnosis)," McGrady said. "That leaves me with four or five games left. It all depends on where we are after those five weeks. I'm definitely not ruling myself out right now. But if we're not in the running for the playoffs and we only have four or five games left, it really doesn't make sense for me to come back."Just prepare myself and get ready for next year ? that's what my doctor advised me. The five weeks is definitely something I've got to abide by. That's not doing anything physical for five weeks."</div>

Houston needs a draft pick badly. Alston is not a good enough point guard to start and Juwan is not good enough to stay in the league. If I were Houston I would try to get either a point guard and power forward and move Alston and keep Swift on the bench. At least get one of those holes fixed.

Im glad. Im confident McGrady will be back to his old self no matter what anybody says. Im a true fan.We need to get rid of the piece of crap Juwan and the aging Wesley. We need someone who can step up. Stromile should come off the bench next year with a young PF starting. Someone like Tyrus Thomas or something.

i'm glad t-mac's resting.. he needs it. it's better for the long run. this year the injury bug has bit us hard. super hard. yao was out for a month, t-mac was out. everyone was out w/ something. our team fell apart over the offseason.. so many new promises w/ derek anderson and stromile swift and a huge bust everywhere. this season sucked. oh well. next season. and it shouldn't be a bust. it better not.
