So AB went toe to toe with Nash, at least point wise.
and made the winning bucket on a Nash like one handed lay up under Shaq
3 Ast and 4 TO still needs work

I have been telling everybody I know that I'm not going to be sold on AB until he shows he can go for 30
Eventhough it was against an awful defense, I think I'm sold

I could not stop laughing when they did the ESPN highlights, the guy actually said
AB is making Rafer look expendable,
something any real Rocket fan should have known for a while

I never bought into Skip, even when I got killed on this board a couple times for dogging him

Hmm, AB only had 3 assists and couldn't guard Nash. Not a lot of point guards in the league could, though.

I agree, there are definitely positives to be had from Brooks' game. He's proven to be a clutch player but when his shot's off, he's a lot less dangerous. Somewhat like Rafer in that regard, but AB ignites breaks a lot more.

Lowry last night had a much better +/-, but I think he works well with Landry, who gives him space to penetrate into the lane. Lowry doesn't really have any other way of scoring, so without Yao clogging up the paint, he's much more effective.

Finally, the Rockets have a young, solid rotation at PG and PF. Brooks and Lowry come in at about $5 million, ScoLandry at $6 million.

Rafer was hated too much by the fans. Everyone expected him to be a shooter. His job was to bring the ball up, set up the offense, and shoot when he was doubled off of. He made 36% of his three pointers. He did all that for $4.9 million while almost averaging a 3:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Good Luck in Orlando, Skip to My Lou.
