I went to the midnight of it and loved it. So far it's the best movie I've seen this year and is the 2nd best super hero/comic book movie I've seen, next to The Dark Knight.

I enjoyed the movie...but it was troubling how Dr. Manhattan was just swing around in every scene. I know that's how his character is in the GN, but come on!!! It was as if they went out of thier way to show off his dong every time he was on....and the theme music for the Archie love scene was...ummm....really not needed...lol.

And I nominate Rorscach for the movie line of the year!!!

"...you creeps don't get it. I'm not locked in here with you....your locked in here with me!" Just awesome!!!

Yea, they really did not need to show Dr. Manhattan's penis as much as they did, but I guess it's like in the novel...and well...they were trying to stick close to it, lol. Hey...at least they didn't show it when he was a giant...ew.

As for Hallelujah playing during the love scene, I thought it was hilarious.

I finally got a chance to see it two days ago, and I have to say, that was one of the deepest movies in a long time. So profound.

Too bad many of the critic degenerates don't understand when a message is trying to be conveyed. In colloquial words: they're idiots.

It was like a soft core porno with a very good plot. To much blue dick, but I didn't focus on that. The sex scene was hilarious and everyone was dieing when the song came on.

Maybe other people who read the graphic novel before watching the movie would agree with me, but did you feel like a film adaption (at least this specific adaption) was pointless? They added absolutely nothing to the graphic novel. It was like a shot for shot remake. I guess you could take some enjoyment out of it all being live action and happening in real time, but I didn't feel like I got anything more out of it. It was far too long and could've used a lot of editing to make the film more meaningful. I know people always complain when Hollywood diforms a comic into something it never was (justifiably so), but I think completely mimicking it and adding nothing original is just as lame too.

Rorcshach was just as awesome in the film though.

Just saw it at the beginning of the week. I was a little reserved when I heard everyone complaining about the blue dick. But honestly, it was only shown for like 2 min. in a 3 hour movie, and even then it wasn't like it was the focal point in the scene.

That being said. I loved the movie, I read the GN a while back. Just amazing visually.
