Over the last 20 seasons the Blazers and the Lakers have duked it out in the regular season. From 1997-98 to 2007-08, an 11 season span, neither team had been able to win three against the other, and the home team has been flat out dominant. So far this season the Lakers have been able to win both of their home games, but I think Portland fans get up for these games in the Rose Garden, even in years when the Lakers are title contenders.

The playoffs are a different story.

But now it's time, folks, to continue a trend and beat the LA Lakers in the Garden! Come on Blazers, I've got a bet with DaRizzle riding on this!

    I mean... yeah!

No, I wish I could figure out why the table code always causes there to be a big gap like that in my posts.

What year was it when Kobe made like two impossible 3 pointers at the end of regulation and OT? As much as I love my Blazers, I have to admit that was just plain awesome.

That was in 2007, the same game he scored 65, and the first of a four game streak where he made 50 points or more. He was the only player on that team that did anything at all that game.

Havent you heard, though? The Blazers are supposed to lose the game tomorrow night, I mean, several posters and a mod have said so, so I don't understand why everyone is getting excited. The Blazers just arent as good as the Lakers, they might as well just not show up to the RG tomorrow night and forfeit the game to save their pride.

I thought that game was like 3-4 years ago....its the one where I was at hooters in santa monica pounding my head on the table I believe. I was at that 65 point game.....I was in shock and awe after that game. I think that game made me not really hate on Kobe as much as I had been.
