You don't realize that the attacks came with the migration? Those who led the migration are most responsible. Thin skins and pussy words follow this group no matter where its hosted.
A lot of the fighting on this site is coming from the same 2-3 people posting the same negative shit in every thread. And it's gets really annoying.
In my experiences, I've noticed that that tends to be about what is considered average for forums/news groups. You have about 2-3 people who are either negative or just ass holes, and they dominate the "mood" of the overall board. And they tend to be the ones who pass the blame for the attitude onto any and everyone else (mods, popular posters, or the "man"). It's one of the negatives of such an open forum.
