No he doesn't. Granted, he was choosing from two, but he said he would prefer LA, when he coudl have easily said I don't like either.

Q: Which Blazer has the best nickname? And are there any good nicknames among the players that we fans should know about? Do you prefer L.A. or L.M.A.?

A: Unfortunately, nobody’s nickname on our team is that great. Out of those two I’d prefer to be called L.A.

I do enjoy the vids where they superimpose Blaze in a famous movie scene, like Hoosiers or Rudy.

And while we're on the subject, anyone else think it's about time they replaced Mark Mason? He brings all the energy and enthusiasm of a grandma knitting a sweater.

Oh, sorry. misunderstood. I would hope he hated the franchise after his first few days on our team.

I couldn't even stand the nickname at first! But after no viable easy alternatives it grew on me. The I love LA song is just crossing the line, it has got to go, such a disgrace.

When they first hired him years back, I thought he was a bore. He's grown on me though. He's a pro, has a good voice. When I hear other PA guys from other arenas through the TV, some of them are really, really annoying. It's a line you can cross toward borderline cheesey if you hire a guy with tons of emotion.

Kudos to the ops crew. They used "L Train" instead of "I love L.A." - thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's amazing that so few people understand what Randy Newman is singing about. It's ripping LA, not praising it.
