I think it is pretty obvious Chris Paul is the hands down Rookie of the year for the impact he has had on the Hornets team.My question is who will get the most second place votes?

Channing Frye was the early favorite, but Charlie V is quickly making a case for himself, as well as Andrew Bogut. It's a close race I can't call right now

Cant count Granger out either. And Gomes is starting to look good.

It could be either Bogut, CV31, Frye and Deron Williams.

No way Deron..Hes been so inconsistant and his shooting percentage is not very good..I would say Frye, Villaneuva, Gomes, and Granger have the best shots at it..but Bogut might if he starts to heat up..

Bogut is probably the favorite, as he has been solid and consistent. CVill has been good but inconsistent (although that has picked up recently).

Bogut hasnt done as much as you would think. During the time of the draft everyboday said how great of a player he was and everything. But hes just been ok.

Regardless of hype, he has been the second best rookie. Forget what they were expected to do, look at what they are doing.

Hornets arent playing inspired ball for Byron Scott no more. They're now 2 games under .500Teams like Sacramento have become red hot right now and have put themselves in playoff positioning. LA's still hanging around at the 8th spot, but the Hornets' record this year will be because of Chris Paul. And if his numbers start to decline, I can see Frye winning it.

Gomes should be the ROY, but he got hosed with minutes the first half of the season. Doc really over looked him, i'm disappointed, he's still got a chance for 2nd all rookie team

His team has the second-worst record in the league, and he's not even their best player.

Runner up should be Bogut, because he's been the 2nd most consistent rookie all year and had some great games to go with that.Gomes recent push can make a case, but we don't know if he could do that all year long. And as much as I like Charlie V, he's been inconsistent with a double double one game, and the next 4 and 3.

I think it should be CV31, because hes the only one thats bought it all year. Besides Paul.

1 month ago i'd say frye but he hasn't been playing well i think mostly because he's tired and getting inconsistent minutes. so i'd go with charlie. he's really playin well lately.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Why should Gomes get it hes only began to be noticed for like 2 weeks.</div>Like I said if he got minutes during the beginning of the season he would have had a great chance. He's been playing great basketball or "beginning to be noticed...." as of late. He had a string of double-doubles and has been putting up consistent numbers according to the minutes he's getting.

I think it should be my man, CV. Look at his numbers compared to Frye.Frye: 12.2 ppg, 5.7 rpg, .67 bpg, .8 apg, .477 fg%CV31: 12.4 ppg, 6.0 rpg, .82 bpg, 1 apg, .474 fg%He is putting up slightly better numbers then Frye and also is more of a force on the defensive end and in the post. He should be runner up.

Well compared to Bogut, he's only better in scoring. Bogut has better stats in every other category then Charlie V.
