    I could see it as trying to save face for MJ. Why the hell wouldnt a team trade there pick for Brand? Brand was an amazing talent, no way you would take a high schooler over him

    Jordan was preparing to come back and the Wizards front office thought Jordan's decisions would be skewed, because Jordan would have wanted to win now. Wizards front office didn't want to jeapordize the team's future...

    Rip Hamilton, Michael Jordan, Elton Brand? That team could have come out of the East...and with Michael Jordan on your team, who knows what could happen in the finals.
