They should ask Calvin who he wants as QB.

Grossman? Losman? Garcia? LOL. Fuck em all. Yeah, let's just waste the greatest talent we've had on our roster since Barry and let CJ bolt after his contract expires. Get the kid a real QB.

I think they should seriously make a strong play for Gay Cuddler. He isn't happy in Denver and is only going to cause more headaches for them. Give up the #1 for him.

I'd love that but Denver isn't dumb enough to trade a franchise QB for a complete unknown like Stafford. They'd fire McDaniels to appease Cutler before they'd get rid of him.

No way. Trade #20 and some combination of picks after that, maybe with Culpepper since Denver's going to need a game-ready QB of some kind. Pick a lineman with #1. Cutler + Jason Smith goes a long way towards improving that offense right away.

    QB: Cutler
    HB: Smith
    FB: who cares
    WR: Calvin
    WR: Bryant
    TE: LJ Smith?
    LT: Smith
    LG: Backus
    C: Raiola
    RG: Ramirez
    RT: Cherilus

Tell me that offense, as long as the defense improves a little bit, couldn't get at least 7 wins. The middle of the line might need some improvement as well, but there's guys out there.

LOL, Culpepper as a substitute for Cutler. Nice.

Ok, I'll play along. Getting Cutler would be a dream come true. Having a legit QB for the first time in my lifetime would be like losing my virginity all over again. Cuter + CJ + Kevin Smith could do some real damage as long as we get a LG, replace Backus, and find a new center this year or next year.

Not as the franchise QB, of course. In this scenario Denver would get #20, one of Detroit's 3rd rounders (maybe both), and Culpepper. They would probably use one of their 5 1st/2nd/3rd round picks to take a QB, one would think. Culpepper is decent enough to keep the seat warm for the next guy.

Freeman is probably the next best QB in the draft behind Stafford. I just can't envision them giving up a sure thing in Cutler to gamble on an unproven rookie to take over. Pro Bowl QBs are very hard to find. The Broncos won't be giving Cutler away anytime soon.
