Unless he gets one on his own, people won't even remember Kobe for his championships because he was Shaq's sidekick and he never got MVP in any of them.HAHAHADoes anyone care that Oscar robertson never won a championship without kareem? Does anyone care that Scottie never won anything about MJ? NO.What has dirk done in his career? Nothing spectacular. Hasn't won, hasn't put up amazing stats, hasn't gone uber clutch. In history's page people are not going to wonder "he couldn't win anything withoutshaq'. All that will be remembered is that he won 3 championships. Period.

Well I would be bitter to if my team can't even make the playoffs. The day Kobe does better than Dirk without Shaq is the day I say Kobe is better. So far Dirk is way ahead of Kobe here. It's hard to build a team around a shooting guard who doesn't pass. Shaq is the perfect player to build a team around and Dirk seems pretty easy to build around as well. I'm not saying Dirk will win a championship since Dallas doesn't have that second superstar. As for this topic, putting Harris at 5th place on pure point guards is nothing that impressive considering the other choices. Bibby is definitely a better scoring point guard but other than that is not close to a pure point guard.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>All i know is that when Dirk retires he will be forgotten as a loser whilst kobe will be remembered as a 3 time championship.</div>I disagree that he will be forgotten. Dirk is someone who could go down as the best international player in the NBA.On the whole argument, I can't see how Devin is here. He's not even a pure pg mavsfan, the guy played sg for 3 years of his career in college. Only to switch to pg his senior year. He still has the mentality of a scorer. Why do you think they had him study tapes of pgs his offseason.

Well before he got hurt he was driving and kicking out to the open person. He got Terry 3 3's in a row in one of the latest games. He is the best passer on Dallas. He still has a scorers mentality but he is really doing well this year on his passing.
