Getting back to the topic at hand, basketball, I'm looking forward to tonight's game against Dallas. I want to see the Blazer's put to very good games together. We've seen them but especially as the season draws to a close and it looks ever more definitive that we'll be in the playoffs, I want to see the Blazers play with the same kind of determination, passion and fire they showed against the Lakers on a consistent basis. If we do that, I think we can put the "Fear of Blazers" in the hearts of others as well as instill greater confidence within our Blazers.

I'm happy with wins, but I'd really like to see more "statement" games - especially against potential playoff opponents.

    Gramps...

I hope the Laker game has lit a fire under our boys.. thats the biggest thing. If thats what finally pushes them over the edge and turns them into A-Holes.. then thank you Rudy for taking one for the team!

I am really scared about this game for two reasons. One, the Mavs have had our number. Two, I feel a big let down from this young team after the emotional win against the Lakers. Heck, we only beat Indiana and Minnesota because they missed a shot to win the game.

It's my hope that the Blazers have learned that strong starts lead to good results. We jumped on the Spurs and L*kers and they didn't recover. I don't want to see us play neck and neck in the first only to fall behind by double digits so we have to play uphill the entire second half. We're a little challenged in the depth department, so we need to husband our energy.

Should Batum guard Dirk? Dirk plays outside alot and Batum might be an effective defender on him vs. Lamarcus......

I wouldn't mind if LMA were to pull an Ariza on Dirk. Oh, wait! He just shoots jumpers!
