A loss here makes the Lakers win moot. Yes, Utah lost but Denver is kicking the snot out of the Thunder. It's like they felt all they had to do was show up and the game was theirs. That's one thing I really dislike about this team (and other Blazer teams in the past).
We just do not match up well with this team at all. We can't stop Terry, Barea, or Dirk. Not sure what Nate is going to do in the second half.
Well i guess we better play Frye the whole second half since he is the only Blazer player with a + next to his name.
Really? You expected differently? Come on, Dallas has our number and we spent all the energy we had at the Laker game. Our guys are to young to figure this out. We have to play DEFENSE every night.
Things to consider: two years ago, Portland beat LA in LA. The Next game? Lost at home against the Grizzlies. two years ago, Portland beat LA in Portland and barely beat the Hornets the next game. last year, Portland beat LA and then lost to Golden state the next game. last year, Portland beat LA and then lost on the road to the Kings the next game. Just something about this team getting up to play the Lakers, and then taking a shit the next game. They don't take these learning experiences seriously apparently.
But we still manage to go on and win the championship! No,,,but we went on to make the playoffs! No,,,,hmmm, so we still stink! Yea, that's it!!
Dallas is on the 2nd night of a back to back, but Portland is the team with no energy. They're taking too many contesting jumpshots, and yes Nowitski is hard to defend, but we could be doing a lot better. 8 mins to go in the 3rd, and it looks like they finally have some pep to their step.
Wasn't saying that X=X, but that it's quite common for teams to get up for a certain opponent, and then have a let-down the next game.
