If they're able to give the trio a bad shooting night and prevent from fouling, the trio should have a bad game.</span><u>Control The Paint</u>: <span style="color:red">The Nets should look to focus to attack the paint and crash the boards because the Wizards' frontcourt is pretty weak down-low, but when they outrebound the other team, they are 22-4. They also should look to feed Krstic down-low early and see what they can do with it.</span><u>Control The Tempo Of The Game</u>: <span style="color:red">The Nets just have to go out there and want this game more than the Wizards do. They're going to need to force turnovers and get some points off the fastbreak. They're also 4th in assists per game, so the Nets should look for the open shot while they're on offense.</span><u>Wizards Bench'</u>: <span style="color:blue">It's going to be important for the Wizards' bench to play well like they did with Chicago. Etan Thomas came out moving well, getting up to the glass and scoring, and pulling down rebounds. Antonio Daniels shot a great 7-9 from the floor with 21 points. If they're able to give the starters a rest and pickup the slack, the Wizards should have an advantage here.</span><u>Get To The Line</u>: <span style="color:blue">The Wizards are 1st in the NBA in free throws made with 504 and 2nd in the NBA with free throw attempts with 1904. The Wizards got off to a great start and half against the Bulls because they were able to get to the free throw line and knocking them down. The Nets are 12th in fouls per game, so the Wizards should see the line at times.</span><u>Control The Ball</u>: <span style="color:blue">The Wizards came off with 2 victories against the Bobcats last week, but they did a bad job keeping safe of the ball. They had 23 turnovers and the Bobcats had took advantage of those which was why they were able to stay in striking distance with the Wizards. Washington is going against a quick and fast team here, so they need to take care of that.</span><u>Players Of The Game</u>[IMG]|[IMG]Predicted Stats: 22 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists|32 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists<u>Prediction</u>Post Below.</div>

Once again, great preview. This game should be good, Jersey has alot of momentum on their side, so I expect them to come out strong early. The battle of Arenas, Jamison and Butler VS Kidd, Jefferson, and Carter should be GREAT.

Caron Butler is doing so well as the 1st quarter ends. He's doing a great job containing Jefferson from driving to the hoop, he's hustling for the loose ball, not to mention that put back shot. He's got 6 points, 3 boards and 2 assists right now and the Wizards are down 5.

This team is by far the WORST team at pick-and-roll defense. First of all, Collins and Robinson were setting all these moving picks that the refs didnt even bother to call. Thats why Jefferson and Carter got to the hoop. In the 1st half, Jefferson was kind of quiet, but thanks to Collins and Robinson, he was able to get to the hoop because they blocked out almost all of our defenders at the perimeter. Second of all, why the hell would our guys go around picks?! That just gives the opponent a shitload of time to get his feet set and release the shot. I know they were moving picks, but still you have to fight through them, not go around them.Third of all, we are the worst overall defensive team in the league. What the hell is up with allowing New Jersey to shoot 50% from the perimeter, AND WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH ALLOWING LAMOND MURRAY NAILING 2 3PTERs!!?? The only player who had a great game for Washington was Caron Butler, Arenas and Jamison had had below-average games, and Antonio Daniels was good off the bench. Also, Eddie Jordan sucked with his coaching tonight. I respect him for giving the rookies PT, but they made bunch of dumb mistakes, which got New Jersey pulling away. What a way to start a 6 game road trip. :thumbdn1:
