Prior to signing with the Celtics, Marbury's last NBA game was in December of 2007, I believe. His rustiness is to be expected. I'm sure he'll get things together during the postseason.

It probably won't happen, but it would be interesting if the Knicks and Celtics met in the first round this year.

Well Mikki, imagine how frustrated Boston fans are that we have to put up with your incapabilities in the paint.

the thing is mikki moore has never been a good player in his entire career and marbury is crazy. i'm really not sure why the celtics thought they would be difference makers.

once garnett comes back, the celtics will be fine and should be able to go to a game 7 with the cavs to determine who plays in the finals but neither moore nor marbury improve the team in any way.

Did you see how bad PJ Brown was for the Celtics during the regular season last year? He was horrendous until he finally understood what was going on, which was right before the playoffs.

Sure, Moore and Marbury aren't going to improve the team much, but that was not even the point of signing them. The point was to create some more depth off the bench so that they don't have to worry about Patrick O'Bryant and Gabe Pruitt being on the floor in a playoff game. Once KG and Baby get back, I'd be shocked if Moore ever played anything but garbage time. Marbury will only average 15-20mpg max.

Good games from both these guys tonight. Moore had 8 boards and a +16 (#1 on the team). Marbury 9 pts 5 assists in 16 minutes.
