You guys think he will go pro this season? Idk if he will go pro or not after this year. But if he does he could easily be the best player in the draft, even top the JJ/Morrison hype. Nothing wrong with JJ or Morrison. But their only know for their shooting, which are both out standing. They have no defence and lack on athleticism. Sorry, I got carried away. Back to Rudy. I would have to compare him to a Josh Howard(Only for defence, he has those long arms) Some even say Scottie Pippen. Very athletic player. Does every thing a coach would want you to do, score and rebound. Evenly consistent in offence(Clean jump shot/Imo would be a hard player to guard) and defence. Some where I herd he averaged 4 blocks per game in high school when he was a Senoir, idk. Would be my #1 choice if you were looking for a 2/3 combo player to help your team

He doesnt make 28 ppg shooting 3 pointers, he is very good off the ball, he has a good back to the basket game, he can score any way. But yes you're right he will go very high in the draft.

^That clearly why I said he was outstanding, no need to debate it.

he said they are only KNOWN for their shooting.. but nevermind that.I think Rudy will go pro bc of all the hype he is hearing about himself. He knows he'll go high up in this draft, so i guess he could be thinking "why wait"? I don't think he'll benefit much from another year anyways. Everyone talks about how complete his game is. He only needs a few minor tweaks, but he can work on those in the off-season w/ pro coaches.

Rudy should stay one more year but he will probably go pro. He has such a great game. I haven't seen him on defense though but I know he hustles alot. But Morrison would be great for someone like the Bobcats. They need a good guard than can score.

I think that Rudy Gay should go pro this season. He is a guranteed top 5 pick, and a very hyped player in this years draft. If he can be that high of a pick this year, why wait until next year to come into the league? Gay's game is very well rounded, he drive, shoot, defend, run, and provide a good player to build your team around. Gay can go also play both the 2 guard spot, or the 3 spot. I think the Bobcats should definately go with Gay if he is there.Morrison is just too slow to fit in with the Bobcats. I know someone else said that, and it's true, Wallace would be moved over to the 2, and this team would be way too slow.

I agree though, Cats need to select him with their pick. He's the missing link as they need a swingman. And with Cats, he will get all the time he needs to develop. On Morrison, it sounds like a lock he's gonna get picked by Portland barring any surprizes. Rumors are their gonna be trading Miles or Randolph(judging on if they pick Morrison or Bargnini).

he still is one of this year's top recruits, overrated or not. This draft class is NOT top-heavy at all.

Coach Calhoun expects Rudy Gay to go to the NBA. He just said that recently. But people really need to settle down, Rudy Gay is only 19 years old and came into college as raw as anyone. I admit he has not met the high expectations but he's only a sophomore and he put up the same numbers Grant Hill did his sophomore yeat. He's still the best prospect in the NCAA, he has a great work ethic and coaches love him. He's an incredable athlete, he's a good passer, rebounder and could be an elite NBA defender in part because of his long arms. His only real weakness is ball handleing which can easily be improved. Bottom line this kid is amazing and with Aldridge and Tyrus Thomas staying in school (supposedly) he's the clear cut #1 pick.

If Bobcats get 1, then yea.

If Aldridge and Thomas stay in school who would those teams pick then? If you take them out you have a draft filled with swingmen. Andrea Bargnani, Tiago Splitter, maybe Patrick O'Bryant, Rodney Carney, Brandon Roy, J.J. Redick, Adam Morrison, Rudy Gay and Ronnie Brewer.

He will go pro, like Calhoun said "He is going to be a top 5 draft pick, you won't get any better than that." He is not ready to go to the pros yet though, he is too incosistent, but he does have some talent.

And Bulls don't need another swing, neither do Hawks. That's why I don't see those teams taking him.
