Yeah good point. Luke seems to have filled in quite nicely with the second unit as well. Luke and Lamar can facilitate, I think putting Luke on the bench was a great move. As much as we may all hate him, he DOES make the offense flow. Farmar was supposed to be the facilitator, the guy who runs the offense, but obviously that is a fail because he can't do any of that. I cringe whenever he passes the ball (exaggeration, but you get my point). I guess we can move Sasha to PG again, but with the way Farmar has been playing lately, it wouldn't hurt at all. He can't possibly be worse. Another option is to give Shannon some PT. I know he has no jumper at all, but at least he plays hard and plays some D. Hogface sucks, I hate him.
I think the problem is Shannon is a shooting guard, not PG. I don't recall us missing a beat when Jordan was injured. I think it is time Phil tries something, waiting for Jordan to "get it" is silly. Only if Drew is healthy: Fish/Puke/Shannon (Puke runs the offense but doesn't have to guard the 1) Kobe/Sasha/Shannon Ariza or Odom/Puke <-- Ariza can come off the bench to guard other PGs. Gasol/Powell/Odom Bynum/Dacos/Odom In this scheme, Odom also helps facilitate when he's not playing other positions. Or Odom could switch with Puke for good, depends on the team. What do you think man?
I thought Shannon played PG in college though? But wtv... I'd love that! The less PT Hogface gets the happier I'll be. He has turned into absolute trash.
If Bynum is injured: Fish/Puke (facilitates) Kobe/Sasha/Shannon Ariza/Shannon/Sasha (Shannon plays the 2 or 3 in the offense, but guards PGs) Odom/Powell Gasol/Dacos
Dacos will definitely see a lot of DNP's and Powell's PT will go down when Bynum is back, but it is still nice to have them in reserve.
