I want to pursue a career in advertising. Better to get a diploma(or similar) in graphic design or continue on my current path and get an Bcom specializing in marketing?
get a government a job, they thrive on mediocrity. honestly, working as a civil servant would be a kick ass job, i suggest u apply to those summer gov positions to get yourself some experience and do those entry exams really well
this is a very specific industry related question and i couldnt give u specific steps on how to enter the advertising industry. however, i have a few tips (1) seek out an unpaid internship at an advertising company to gain valuable experience that can be leveraged later for a job in the field (2) seek out a mentor within the field to help map out a career path for yourself (3) if all else fails, work on your dick sucking skills and u will do fine
because u nimrods dont deserve to be capitalized for. and because the defiant gesture of not bothering to capitalize fits nicely into my badarse online personality
i think housing is a lagging indicator, that is to say that it looks good after other parts of the economy do well and it stinks when the economy is sluggish. to that end, the best way to answer your question is to examine the strategy of mortgage lenders -these lenders are holding on to the plethora of foreclosed homes they now possess because they believe the prices have bottomed out and they anticipate that housing prices will rise once again. so hence they have holding strategy, a very onerous one i might add. however, i dont envision a flurry of new home construction like the ones experienced in houston over the last few years. i say this is the best time to buy a home if u have the extra cash as an investment (hold on to it) or for personal use.
