Yeah but Frye didnt play until GO went down.. what happens when we have GO back and takes Frye's minutes? That leaves Martell, Batum, and TO for the 48 SF minutes.. and the 13 or so minutes at backup PF. I guess we could divide it evenly by 3 and have all guys average 20 mpg? I am glad I dont have to make the decisions KP and Nate do.
Indeed he was. If at some point Webster comes back and they just hand him the starting job, I will be seriously upset.
Not quite as Both Travis and eventually Batum can pay backup PF too. So....about 62 minutes. Yeah that is tight. But you have to plan for injuries, or you get burned.
At least. IMO, his ceiling is higher. At this age, Prince was playing for Kentucky and not yet even a star in college.
Yeah I agree with the Injury part too.. but we cant convince every player to sit tight until someone goes down.
When Batum gets introduced before the game everyone should yell TOOOOOMM!!! instead of just cheering. I think it would be cool
^ lol cloudy this site is a lot harder to hide pics from my wife.. before i could just wait to click on the links lol
Before tonight I was kind of disappointed that we hadn't traded Batum in a deal for Carter. Now I get it. I'm here to say that Kevin Pritchard is smarter than me. Well, at least this one time.
Martell's injury was a blessing in disguise. Honestly, if he'd been healthy all year, we probably would have never been able to see Batum develop like this so soon. And next year we'll have both of them? Amazing. I say start Martell at SG, Batum at SF, and Roy at PG. This team seems like it doesn't even need a true PG.
Interesting.. I hadnt even thought of it that way. and Have Blake as the backup PG.. could be a good fix, especially if Bayless still isnt ready and Sergio doesnt start playing like a backup.
Yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes you just have to say to your self.....fuck, was i wrong. Thank God.
Meh, if Webster is healthy I seriously think he'd have been beaten out of the starting lineup by Batum anyway. Webster is the most overrated player on our roster.
I am not a fan of Roy as the PG as he can not handle a double team. But i wil say after watching james run the point last night against phoenix, Broy can do it too.
