That's the 4th straight double double from LaMarcus, for those of you complaining about his rebounding.
He's been great in the second half of the season. Throw out his awful November and he's having a very good year statistically, which doesn't even account for his very good defense.
I stand corrected. The only reason his numbers weren't improved from last year was because Oden was in the line up early in the year. Now that he's been out a bunch of games, Aldridge has really stepped up and that's a huge reason why we've won a few games. He has an amazing knack for O-boards.
Aldridge is actually a good rebounder. His stats may not show it but here's a couple things to keep in mind. 1) Portland is one of the slowest pace teams in the league(fewer rebounds to go around) 2) Portland is a great rebounding team(I'm not sure if we're #1 but I know we're close) So while Aldridge may not grab that many rebounds to boost his raw numbers, he doesn't give up many rebounds either.
Aldridge has definitely stepped up his game recently. He can be close to unstoppable when gets gets a chip on his shoulder and plays aggressively.
LMA had a whole slew of clutch offensive rebounds. We wouldn't have won without him. With him and Outlaw rebounding so hard, Joel wasn't able to get his hands on as many as usual.
