    The Blazers were without rookie swingman Rudy Fernandez for the second straight game. Fernandez had a bruised chest and a hip pointer from a scary fall he took against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night.

    Fernandez on a fast break when was fouled by Trevor Ariza and crashed to the floor.:confused: He was taken from the floor on a stretcher with his neck in a brace, and was hospitalized overnight.
