I chuckled over Batum being better than Carter head-to-head, when Thorn wanted Batum included in a deal for Carter. Batum: 20 points (1.250 TS%), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks, 1 turnovers Carter: 19 points (0.475 TS%), 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 3 turnovers All those blocked attempts left Carter with a pretty awful scoring efficiency.

I laughed that Vince got owned all night long by Batum. I laughed when Vince fouled out. I laughed when I looked up at the scoreboard at the end of the game. I laughed when I got home and looked at the standings and saw Portland at 41-24 in 1st place in their division and the 4th seed in the Western Conference. I laughed harder when I saw New Jersey at 28 - 37 tied with the Knicks as the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference. But hey, nice two points. Too bad it didn't matter in the end. BNM

Actually, I am thinking Carter is lucky that Oden was not in there. After this latest injury I am certain that Greg is ready to start putting players on their butts now instead of playing scarred or timid.
